Project Overview

A legal services firm in Folsom, CA, was experiencing unreliable Wi-Fi connectivity and inconsistent wireless coverage throughout its 3,000-square-foot office building. The existing network setup struggled to provide consistent wireless connectivity across the entire workspace, creating coverage gaps and affecting everyday business operations.

To address these challenges, our team designed and implemented a modern network solution featuring Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure and Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) technology, providing the foundation for reliable, high-performance office connectivity.

Network Infrastructure Upgrade

We introduced a new Ubiquiti UniFi network stack to improve network reliability, wireless performance, and centralized management.

The upgraded infrastructure includes business-grade network switching, a security gateway, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity to support wireless access points and other essential office devices.

Strategic Wi-Fi 7 Access Point Installation

A key part of this project was improving wireless coverage throughout the entire 3,000-square-foot building.

We installed three Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro Wi-Fi 7 access points, strategically positioned across the office to eliminate weak signal areas, reduce wireless dead zones, and deliver consistent connectivity throughout the workspace.

The ceiling-mounted access points provide modern Wi-Fi 7 capabilities while maintaining a discreet appearance that blends into the professional office environment.

Centralized Network Management & PoE Connectivity

The upgraded network is managed through a centralized UniFi infrastructure, integrating the security gateway, routing, switching, and wireless access points into one streamlined network environment.

A PoE-enabled UniFi switch supplies both network connectivity and power to the three Wi-Fi 7 access points, as well as other compatible office equipment, including VoIP phones.

This approach simplifies network management, reduces the need for separate power adapters, and provides a scalable foundation for the firm's wired and wireless connectivity requirements.

The Result
